We like to get to know you so that we can offer the best advice – tailored to your needs
How we work
The advice process
The first meeting offers a chance for you to get to know us and make sure that we are the right people for you. The meeting is at our expense so will cost you nothing but we prefer it to be at our offices. We listen, we ask questions and we build up a picture of your financial position and give you our initial thoughts.
We will write a brief summary and action plan. This outlines our fees and the process we expect to follow.
If you are happy with this report, we will confirm our fact-finding with you and then undertake a programme of research and analyse your options and formulate your personal, bespoke recommendation, which we deliver in writing. This may include a cashflow forecast – essentially a picture of your financial life year by year to demonstrate how your objectives are being met by our plan. We meet again to answer any questions you may have, discuss our recommendations with you and, if necessary, amend it.
Only then will we implement these plans, handling all of the paperwork for you.
We agree a time to review your plans, providing you with a full valuation and report. During each review, we will consider any changes that have occurred in your life, in legislation and in the relevant marketplace. We will recommend changes to your plans if we feel that they are necessary to ensure that you continue to derive best protection and value from them.
In summary, we work to understand your objectives, prioritise them, research them, make recommendations, discuss them with you, refine them, implement and manage them, and then watch your financial situation grow and blossom across your lifetime and indeed those of your dependents.
