Once again, we are trying to raise money for a good cause and we desperately need your help! |

After being unable to run our usual charity challenge for a while, we are back to fitness and raring to go!
This year we want to make a huge difference to a small and local charity, The Kings Arms (KA). While it sounds like a pub, it isn’t! The charity was established 20 years ago to offer support to the young people of Petersfield and Alton providing clubs, a safe space to hang out and qualified support for those who need it. The KA is an inclusive place, away from negative influences and poor home lives, with professional youth workers to guide and advise. It delivers mentoring and wellbeing support and can help bring those disengaged with education and life back on track. This charity is about prevention, positivity, hope and inclusion and as the last two years have been particularly tough on young people, their services are in great demand. So, what are we doing? In the interests of inclusivity, our challenge includes the three triathlon disciplines: 1) 13km swim along the Thames 2) 60km hike along the South Downs Way 3) 80km off-road cycle along the South Downs Way Each team member aims to complete either a section or the whole course in a discipline, pushing themselves to their personal limits. It will be a gruelling and long day but worth it knowing that we have your support and that we are making a difference.
